What a crazy night last night... For those who were anywhere but marina or esplande area.. GOOD JOB. Cos it seemed like half of singapore was there.. madness.. It's fine if we were there to watch the fireworks.. but all we wanted was to find a place to sit down and have dinner. Yesterday met up with my sec sch buddies ww, yq and jh again.. Met up at sim lim sq cos the "PSP" gang was doing something to their psp and yq wanted to buy a game. After buying.. which was abt 6+pm.. the guys said they were hungry so we went off to get some dinner and since jh wanted to watch fireworks we decided to head down to suntec or marina for makan. Somehow we managed to walk the wrong direction and by the time we reached suntec the whole place was packed to the brim with people.. every restaurant... fastfood outlet and foodcourt is.. super super packed. Never seen so many ppl there before. It's really crazy.. We walked from suntec to marina and back to suntec and by the time it's nearing 9pm and the guys were getting a lil' pissed off so we decided to just get out of marina and head down to orchard. It's fine.. only that when we got on the bus in front of suntec the traffic was so bad the driver told everyone to get down after like 20mins and we're guess we are at? MARINA! How fantastically ridiculous huh? So last resort.. we walked down to city hall mrt and there's tonnes of ppl rushing our opp direction trying to get to watch fireworks while we're trying to get out of this mess to fill our empty stomachs.. Finally we ended up at Cafe Cartel and by the time we finished our dinner it's already 10pm and we sat there till near 11pm before leaving cos the fireworks crowd was still clearing.. after so long. Now you know how bloody crowded it is...

Had a hilarious incident at the raffles city toilet before we headed home..
the exit of the toilet has two doors, one to go out and the other's the janitor room.. one of my friends is done so he headed out first.. then he started tugging at the janitor room door.. and it won't open.. and he didn't realise it until this guy walked past, opened the correct door, gave my friend a "what-an-idiot" look and walked out.. HAHA his face turned as red as his shirt! I better not name any names but it really made up for all the shit we had to go through today.. fantastic comic relief.. the only regret was we didn't capture it on video.. haha

After that went to take 197 home.. and guess what? No prizes for guessing it's packed fully to the brim.. which was fine.. but the air con broke down and there's a traffic jam.. woot.. what a night.. I dropped off after two stops and went across the road to chinatown to take a train down to orchard to hitch a ride from my parents.. and finally got home.. what a night..

Booking in today again.. 3 more weeks and 2 days to POP! It's time.... >:)
